Jin Jung Kwan is official branch of the Korea Hapkido Association. It opened its doors 1967 under Grandmaster Kim Myong Yong. Since that time it has been known throughout Korea and the world as the most ferocious style of Hapkido. Jin Jung Kwan is now headed in Korea by Grandmaster Lee Chang Soo, is still reputed for his fearsome kicking and devastating hand techniques. GM Lee, along with his top students trains the Korean national demonstration team, as well as Korean SWAT, and high risk special military units.

Jin Jung Kwan, is Hapkido from a time long forgotten. Its fighting spirit and incredibly intense training make it a true challenge for those who are serious about learning a true martial art.
All Hapkido is NOT created equal! We are one of THREE schools in the entire nation to be recognized by the Korea Hapkido Federation of Jin Jung Kwan, headquartered in Ansan, South Korea. Their stringent standards made them virtually close the doors to the western world.
Instructor Jon Kleineman, unsatisfied with the level of Hapkido training in the US, made several trips to Korea. What he saw made his jaw drop! The level of Hapkido standards and training were on whole other level. He had never seen Hapkido at that level in the US, even though he had been training for years.
He endured unspeakable hardships to bring Jin Jung Kwan to the New York area....and now he is one of a handful of masters licensed to teach it.
